Mental Health/TechMental health care is scarcely accessible and unaffordable to the MENASA youth. Our team has faced the ground reality of this matter. The blanket of social stigma surrounding these issues has negatively impacted the youth’s willingness to seek the help they need. We are building an AI-driven chatbot that learns user behaviour and adapts to their psychological needs. Tera Day’s mobile application acts as a virtual one-stop for therapists to connect with clients, provides bite-sized infographics, de-stressing diversions, and works towards crisis management for the youth. Tera Day’s pilot project in Dubai aims to build a community and reinforce the importance of self-care. It aims to expand to major cities across the MENASA region after our pilot.
